Scenes from a game of ADLG last night as Sparta and their Thracian allies (in gray) failed to stop Hannibal and his elephants.
To further crush the fighting spirit of the Spartans the evening ended with a crash, bang, wallop! 29 shields and 19 spears to be reglued into place.
It is every gamers' nightmare and on reflection could have been far worse.

Oh dear. Were the shield and spear casualties caused during game play handling or was a tray of figures dropped?
Nothing worse than dropping a box of figures
Well, that would really grind your gears - I know Scotty (Neil) above has had recent personal experience of something similar.
At the end of the game the box slid off the chair it had sat on for most of the game causing a miniature slide inside.
