Spartans - Impetus Army List

Here is the first draft of the 400 point army list for both Basic Impetus and Impetus.


Command Structure - Good  (20 points)
2 Fair Generals - 20 Points each (40 points)
6 x FP - Spartan Hoplites - 33 each (198 points)
3 x FP - Helots - 5 each (15 points)
2 x FL - Peltasts - 19 each (38 points)
2 x CM - Cavalry - 19 each (38 points)
2 x S - Archers - 12 each (24 points)
2 x S - Javelins - 12 each (24 points)


This totals 397 points so just under the 400 point threshold.

2 x FP - Spartan Hoplites - 28 each (56 points) 
3 x FP - Allied Hoplites - 22 each (66 points) 
1 x FL - Peltasts - 19 each (19 points) 
2 x CM - Cavalry - 19 each (38 points) 
1 x S - Slingers - 12 each (12 points) 
2 x S - Javelins - 12 each (24 points) 


This list again totals 397 and is based on the Spartan force fielded at the first Battle of Mantinea 418BC


Those marked in red are the main elements of the Basic Impetus army.


So far the following have been painted:

6 x FP - Spartan Hoplites - All painted

3 x FP - Allied Hoplites - 1 unit painting, others undercoated

1 x FL - Peltasts - painting

2 x CM - All painted

1 x S - Archers - All painted

2 x S - Javelins - All painted
1 x S - Slingers - All painted

The list will be updated as the army develops and is painted. Green text indicates completed units, Amber for work in progress and red for un-started units.
