And Now for Something Completely Different 15

A few pictures of older figures that have been rebased for use with Songs of Blades and Heroes. The figures were painted in the late eighties and early nineties using oils and acrylics for the two wights on the left and acrylics only for the two on the right.

Stopped using oils because of the drying time but some great results can be achieved with them especially if blending colours.

The posing on these figures captures the feel of the undead and the sculpts show the detail well.

Over the years these have seen a lot of use in varying roleplaying and skirmishing games and its good that they can still be used.

More work in progress pictures to follow shortly.

Cheers for now

They look great - still retain their elegance, Ross. I know what you mean about drying time with enamels/oils. Trying to blend shadows and highlights with thinner was always a challenge. Best, Dean
