These figures have been relatively easy to paint and the flesh which has been commented on by several followers is the Foundry Triad - Mediterranean Flesh. Initially this seemed very orangey, but after painting some sixty odd Spartans it looks pretty normal now.
The light infantry should be completed by tomorrow so all being well there will be another entry to the Analogue Hobbies painting competition during this week. Hopefully this momentum will continue throughout late January into February and enable some points to be tallied up.

I've been looking for a decent approach to more mediterraenean/Levantine/Berber flesh colours... not sure the Foundry triad approach is really my cup of tea, though.
