A brief update on the progress of several different projects that are in different stages. Sadly no pictures as the camera hadn't charged properly. Hopefully just operator error there.
The next three "cats" for the WW2 Germans are nearing completion with the final dry brushing, decals and varnishing still to do.
A number of Citadel Chaos Warriors are completed and waiting on final pictures being taken for entry into the Analogue Painting Challenge.
The Uruk Hai have stalled but will hopefully be on track for completion before the deadline.
Dropship troopers for Critical Mass have also stalled, however will be back to these this week. This will hopefully allow the Augmented Troopers time to be started and completed, again before the deadline.
Moving along well with the first of the 6mm Macedonians and Greeks with the skirmish line nearly completed. These are the same as the Chaos Warriors and only require pictures.
Will post some work in progress pictures once the camera charges.
Cheers for now

And now for Something Complete Different 21
Continuing work on the ARC forces for Critical Mass is shown below. Figures are from both Ground Zero Games and Critical Mass
Objective marker |
The drones below whilst easy to paint where a total sod to mount on their flying posts, so much so that there may be no more planned for some time.

Attack Drones in support of a Missile Support Section |
Half Infantry Company and Command |
A company of Drop Troopers are on the painting table just now and should be completed in the next week or so. Then its time for the big boys, but more of that later.
Thats all for now,

Blood and Souls for my Lord Arioch 2
Another two Chaos Warriors for the Songs of Blades and Heroes Warband that is being planned for the near future. Hopefully, these figures will see some action sooner rather than later and a possible campaign too boot.
Both of these figure have been recently painted and submitted in the Analogue Painting Challenge and there will be more from this genre to follow shortly.
Some figures just never look right when first painted and this was one of them. The cloak, armour, shield and dragon crest on the helmet changed colour several times. The original colour scheme was to have a red dragon and golden armour, however this just didn't sit well with the miniature.
The armour became steel and the cloak and shield red after several base coats on the shield to pick a suitable colour. Yellow, not matter how dark just didn't look right; the juxtaposition of the colours didn't suit either the subject or the painter. So in the end, you have what you see here, nothing new or stunning but a colour scheme that suits the figure and the painter too.
Thats all for now
Cheers.

All Hell Let Loose 9
As recently displayed on the Analogue Painting Challenge here are some completed pieces of WW2 German armour
A Sturmtiger and Hetzer both from Britannia Miniatures. Both the same scale although you might not realises the Hetzer is meant to the be longer of the two.
Now a pair of Sd Kfz 234's from Frontline shown here are the 234/3 75mm Close Support Armoured car and the 234/4 PAK 40.
Lastly, there is a Sd Kfz 11 (3 Tonnes) from Britannia.
There will be more to follow shortly.
