Back to the Brushes 15

Well not much has been happening here since the start of March and in fact the only painting was brief session this afternoon touching up the undercoat on a few varying miniatures on the painting table.

Firstly there is the new Warlord for the Viking SAGA force that has graced the table, seen here in a state of underdress and undercoated:

This is a great figure from Gripping Beast with superb animation in the pose of the sculpt. There were a few minor mould lines which was disappointing a such a new cast but nothing to take away from the overall look of the figure.

The next two pictures show roughly some undercoated Foundry Peltasts for Impetus and Citadel Northern Dwarves for Songs of Blades and Heroes. There are also quite a few figures in a variety of stages of painting gathering dust in the background; such is the lot of a figure painter, too many projects and never enough time.

Lastly, there has been another entry to the Analogue Painting Competition which will be shown here later this week.

Hopefully the next rambling entry will show some more productive work.

Cheers for now

Never a truer word spoken.

Look forward to seeing how this lot turn out, especially the warlord giving that I'm playing a bit of Saga now
