Fantasy Heroes 3

Some recently finished Rangers from this year's Analogue Painting Challenge. From left to right, a Citadel Ranger of Ithilien, Lone Wolf and an AD&; ranger. All from the early and mid eighties.

When times allows the remaining figures from the Rangers of Ithilien and AD&D sets will be completed as they are partially painted at present.

Cheers for now

Fury of the North 18

A new entry under the Fury of the North heading this evening; not Vikings this time but their descendants, the Normans.

Four recently painted Normans that are the start of a four point Norman or Early Crusader SAGA warband. The figures are all from Wargames Foundry and are on the smaller side of 28mm.

For their age these figures are still great sculpts and were a pleasure to paint. Good clean sculpts, well cast and exceptionally detailed.

Another four are waiting in the sides for the painting Challenge to finish so that they may be started.

More finished work to follow shortly.

Cheers for now.

All are from Citadel and there are from left to right, Aragorn, Aragorn, Ranger of Ithilien, Ranger Ithilien.

These were painted between 1989 and 2014 as some have been stripped back and repainted.

More in a similar light to follow shortly.
