Well Carronade has come and gone for this year already. A good show and the quality of the display games gets better each year.

Above is a picture from the Best in show table - a stunning Samurai display game - using Hail Caesar with modifications for the Samurai. The picture really does not do this display justice.
Next up is a slightly out of focus pic of The Battle of Bannockburn. The rules used here are a slight tweaked version of Command and Colours. The result from the AM session was a resounding victory for the English.

The next two pictures are of a large Bolt Action game in 28mm. The game looked good and the dice activation adds to the game play.

A interesting Ancients game using the Crusader rules is shown below. Thracians versus Macedonians with an dried river bed as a terrain feature across the table. Some well painted figures on this table and inspiration to start the Macedonians in the lead mountain. Well maybe next year.

The last picture show the haul from the traders. MDF bases from Warbases, Critical Mass rules and a Scout Walker platoon, Tufts from Mutineer Miniatures and a bottle of Strong Tone wash. How the 28mm Waffen SS got there who can say...
Cheers for now.
